Close we get to election, unpopular they are.

Depending on which newspaper you read.
Indeed, they are very much in favour with the CambridgeEveningNews at the moment (WikiNow 21/3/05) because MichaelHoward has been saying harsh things about travellers and the News' sole political opinion is that travellers are bad.

According to the BBC, the new shadow cabinet contains more Davids than women.

By my count there are four Davids (Cameron, Davis, Willets, and Lidlington) and four women (Theresa May, Theresa Villiers, Cheryl Gillian, Caroline Spellman). By comparison, there are six women (Margaret Beckett, Tessa Jowell, Hilary Armstrong, Patricia Hewitt, Baroness Amos and Ruth Kelly) and only one David (Milliband) in the Cabinet. Clearly, the LabourParty? discriminates against Davids (although there are four Johns, if one counts Jack Straw). --SF
(PeterTaylor) To be fair, Labour did have another David, and was at most indecent haste to return him to the Cabinet.
You missed the shadow Scotland secretary - David Mundell. --M-A

Also known as the NastyParty?
Why would anyone vote for them? Except to get rid of Labour of course --RobHu

Damn, should have realised that was potential flamebait, when I only intended it to be a start to a CategoryVoices.  --Vitenka
