Those of you who have mistaken me for a minor Goddess of Beauty may continue in your delusions.

Those of you who think I'm harmless are wrong.

Edith's character, origionally from Exalted/LastFlightOfTheRavens? but later resurrected and rejigged to find a place in Candle.

In Raven, Tulas was built to be a kind, compassionate healer with a slight tendancy to be a manipulative, stuck up, sadistic seductress when the mood took her.

In Candle it would appear to be the other way around.

Either way certain things remain constant. Tulas was always built to be a diplomatic character, with the slight problem that none of her allies actually trust her. ( No wonder when she captures and tortures them! - Xarak ) Tulas is also an abolitionist, making her unpopular with the members of her house. Educated by the Immaculate order and narrowly avoiding being kicked out a number of times, Tulas has repeatedly scared the hell out of other player characters by actually knowing how to fight better than any mortal master martial artist. This is what you get for believing Edith when he described his healer as a pacifist.

Update: Candle Tulas has now married Candle Ilanin, a PC from Exalted/LastFlightOfTheRavens? for reasons best described as political. She is also pregnant with his child. I love character development.

Oh, did I forget to mention. She ditched Oberon after he decided to abandon her and Rubylak to go "exploring" for a year. And now he's upset. Diddums. --Edith

More Updatery: Tulas is somewhat more angsty. This may be due to her killing her true love (again, I mentioned she killed the last one in her character background) when I botched a dice roll and failed to realise my love was under a mind-control spell. Tulas may well be taking the fast-track Syrtis route to wearing black and getting down with killing people at this rate. In other news she also managed to get herself locked up in her own palace, despite escaping the dungeon twice. All of which is somewhat irritating. --Edith
