The house line is so close to Carlyle Road that one has to almost reach Carlyle Road before one can see along it. Most cyclists just cycle straight round this junction without looking either way - obviously very dangerous, but one really needs to come to a halt, look both ways, and then set off again. I think this junction should have a stop sign. Does anyone know of any other instance of a Stop sign in Cambridge? --Admiral
The old Driving Test center on the road you get to after turning right off Hills Road, on the junction after the Station was famous for having the only two stop signs in Cambridge within its boundary. There was no particular justification for them, beyond driving tests. --TI
There's a stop sign in the Addenbrooke's compound, when the road leaving the cycle shed joins the ambulance route --Mjb67
