This is a one-way Northbound street for motor vehicles, with a Southbound contraflow lane for cyclists. Near the South end of the road, the cycle lane crosses over the road, and up onto the pavement before forming its own little junction with King Street. Firstly, it is dangerous for it to cross over the path of the oncoming traffic, and it is dangerous for the cycle lane to break right with the indication that following it is an act not requiring signalling. Also, the curb stones where the cycle lane goes onto the pavement are lowered only over two thirds of the join, meaning that someone who is going just a tiny bit too fast and trying to stay within the cycle lane could have a serious accident. --Admiral

If this is the road the back of Christs, then yes, it's a stupid design.  But luckily there is almost never any fast traffic down there, due to the smallness of the road and the parking on both sides.  --Vitenka
There are double yellow lines down both sides of Malcolm Street, but people generally park anyway. Actually, it has been a lot better recently. --Admiral

Should we have a seperate 'map of cambridge' hierachy?  --Vitenka
AlexChurchill has wondered similar things about what category to put PortersLodge etc in.  You almost want a CategoryCambridge.  In this case I don't think all these subpages should have a specific category, just categorise the master page /BlackSpotRegister.
