A bizarre name for a manga series that seems, based on volume 1, to be rather good. Set in an Earth that has been rendered almost uninhabitable by pollution, small communities live in the few habitable regions (known as "Blessed Lands") between vast deserts and oceans. The people have typically never ventured out of their Blessed Land, in superstitious fear of the monstrous "sub-humans" who live in the deserts and whose bodies have adapted to cope with the poisons abundant in the desert environment.

The story follows a girl who washes up on the shore of one Blessed Land, who is befriended by one boy from the community but is met with suspicion from the rest, some of whom think she's a sub-human. It also features a sinister bishounen doctor :)

The overall feeling is reminiscent of NausicaaOfTheValleyOfTheWind. AlexChurchill wants to see more having very much enjoyed the first manga, and would happily lend it to people :)
