/Anna had always liked the number eleven - she was born on Remembrance Day: The eleventh of the eleventh, shattering a minute's silence with her arrival.
It was her lucky number when she gambled, too - although she never did, any more. It was scary, really - just knowing that she could bet on eleven, and win. She didn't like the moral struggle, so she just stayed away from casinos and slot machines.
The /Deck was the strangest bit, of course - whenever she drew a card, no matter she shuffled it, it was always the eleven - the /Butterfly.
