Ancient evil is unsealed after a thousand year sleep, and is terminally clueless. Similarly clueless kid gets praised as a hero after 'subduing' this evil or 'rescuing' her, depending upon who you ask. And then gets given all manner of supernatural odd jobs to do. Very cliche and silly.
