Green Sky Kiss was born 26 years ago, the son of a mortal peasant woman from the northern threshold and a passing Fae noble, who charmed the simple woman with his impossible beauty and dreamlike charm, made her pregnant on a whim, and left her, leaving her heartbroken. Nine months later the baby was born, a healthy child, with no sign of his strange parentage but his sparkling purple eyes which showed depths of understanding far beyond his young age. He was named Galun by his mother.

He had a poor but happy childhood learning the trade of the village blacksmith, whom his mother married shortly after he was born. He was an only child; the blacksmith was infertile. Yet as far as Galun knew, he was his father. He was a phenomenally fast learner who seemed made for the craft; beneath his hammer the metal seemed to flow like blood into whatever shapes his wished. Even by the age of 9, the horses of the village were wearing the beautiful shoes he made for them and the menfolk kept his swords by their beds. The only impediment to his work was that he seemed to be allergic to iron, and developed a terrible rash if ever he cut himself with anything made from the metal.

He grew up a strong, lively and intensely intelligent child. With his good looks and sharp wit, he was popular among both the children and adults of the village, although some saw him as a little odd, and several were secretly jealous of him. Despite the fact that he was a credit to the family, his mother was however unhappy. She and his father barely spoke, and some nights, he would awake to the sound of her calling out in her sleep; always the same words, although they were not words he understood.

One night, when Galun was 10 years old, his true father happened to be passing through the village again on whatever business or whim he was following. He heard Galun's mother crying out his name in her sleep and recalled what he had done there years ago. Overwhelmed by a sudden wave of love for his child and revulsion that he should live with such dull fools as these country folk, he snatched the boy from the house ( keeping him quiet with magical sleeping dust ) before killing his parents and destroying the house with two green arrows of pure, jealous flame.

When Galun awoke from his sleep, he did not realise it at first, as he found himself in a dreamlike room in his father's strange and terrible mansion deep in the Wyld region far to the north of his home. Though it was but a few hours after his father had so passionatly abducted him, he had had another change of heart and decided the child, half-mortal as he was, was far too boring to care about. So he was left, alone, in the twisted and strange house. Though the Wyld energies would have quickly dissolved the body and mind of a normal mortal, Galun was safe thanks to his parentage. This did not, however, protect him against the sheer terror of his situation.

Over the coming months Galun lived a prisoner in his father's house. Although he could have left at any time the landscape outside was different every time he looked out of the window and he had enough sense of the Wyld to know that he was very far from home in an exceedingly dangerous place. He was fed and looked after by his father's ugly little servants, who terrified him when he first saw them, but he soon realised that they meant him no harm, despite their long teeth and seratted claws. They recognized him as a member of their master's house and treated him with the respect and fear any peasant showed towards his lord.

As time passed ( although it did not seem to do so at a fixed rate ) the boy, isolated from any human contact, began to forget his past life and even to enjoy his current situation. His father's rooms contained wonders beyond his wildest dreams, and he lived without a care. He grew up alongside talking plants, speechless yet intelligent dolls and giant insects that read him bed-time stories, which did not contribute to his development as a normal and well-adjusted human being. He also found a small forge ( of sorts ) in one of the rooms and found to his delight many strange and wonderful metals to experiment with. He was soon crafting things he could never have imagined in his dull, backwater human village.

Green Sky Kiss, as the more intelligent inhabitants of the strange house referred to him and a name he soon adopted, grew over the span of several years into a beautiful young man. He learned to fight against the various dangerous creatures that occasionally found their way into the garden of the house, taking no fear and little caution in his battles with the horrors. He crafted a number of different weapons for himself, his favorites being a set of wickedly sharp Moonsilver knives, which he made to be equally deadly wielded in the hand or thrown at long range.

And then, when he was roughly 18 years old, his father returned to the house. He had been away on another fanciful excursion since he had abandoned the boy in his basement, and was mildly suprised and amused to find him still there. He could sense the wild and colorful dreams of his Wyld-touched son, more tasty than those of any mortal, and his hunger overcame any possible loyalty to his family. No sooner had he set eyes on his son than he attacked him with his long gossamer spear. His son, however, was ready for anything. Not recognising the strange thing as his father, he fought back with his knives and after a brief and vicous struggle, pierced his eye with a thrown dagger, causing the Fae to dissolve back into the chaos he had emerged from.

Inspecting the posessions left behind by his dead parent Green Sky Kiss found a strange amulet in the shape of a crescent moon. Some instinct told him that it could guide him back to the mortal lands he had almost forgotten, and he was siezed by an urge to go back, for wonderous as his current life was, part of him longed for human company. So, packing a few of his favorite items from the house ( of which he was now Lord ), he ventured into the strange landscape.

Thanks to the amulet, which his father had created to allow him quick passage to and from his house, he quickly found his way back to reality, and set off living as an adventurer, dare-devil, socialite, part-time blacksmith and full-time hedonist. By human standards he was impulsive and reckless bordering on insane, and as one of his acquantances said, he had a love of life so strong it was almost a death-wish. But his otherworldly intelligence and speed with a gleaming knife saw him through all the many tricky situations he got himself into. He was possessed of a strange and dangerous charm, and although he was not in fact the most talkative of companions, as he spent much time lost in imagination, dreaming up new ways of enjoying himself, or running off on a whim and making them a reality, he went down a storm wherever he went. He formed few long-term relationships of any kind, however, as he was constantly on the move.

In the eight years since Green Sky Kiss returned from the Wyld there are few places he hasn't been, cultures he hasn't experienced ( and offended ), pranks he hasn't played, intoxicants he hasn't sampled and dangerous sports and games he hasn't played. He can barely remember his parents, and feels no remorse that they are gone. He worked out soon after he got back to civilisation what he was and who his true father had been, but did not regret killing him, either. He knows that if his true nature was revealed to the wrong people, the Wyld hunt would be very interested in hearing about it. He thinks this might be good for a laugh one day, but in general he is discrete about his past, although he can't resist dropping hints from time to time. When he needs money, he uses his skills as a smith to generate cash, but generally he does not care much for money or possessions; after all, what's the good in owning more things than you can enjoy at once? He enjoys visiting the Wyld occasionally as a sort of holiday, but finds that only in human company can he really have a good time.

Green Sky Kiss is anything by malevolant, but he can be dangerous to have around, since he tends to get all around him  into dangerous ( if amusing ) situations and rarely thinks ahead about the welfare of others ( or himself ). His is very mischievous and loves practical jokes; sometimes ( often ) he goes too far. He has no grand ideals, but will usually fight against oppression or imprisonment wherever he encounters it, if only for the thrill of fighting and the fact that it endears him to the ladies. In his opinion, a life without fun is much worse than no life at all, and to what extent he fears his own death is open to debate. Certainly, he's never let the prospect of injury get in the way of a good time.

I think this goes to show that you can generate good material from a random computer generated background so long as you have a bit of creativity.--King DJ
