Dreamers and conspirators, the UniversityOfCambridge AssassinsGuild lurk in the darkness. They have adapted better than most to a world devoid of magic. The game is even more paranoia-inducing without wards, faerie-fire tracers or conjurable force shields.

Due to having encountered difficulties with the local law enforcement agencies in the past, they're not permitted to use anything resembling an actual weapon in their world. They're encouraged to use water pistols in colours of brown or purple, rather than the neon colours which genuine pistols typically bear. The rules do permit shields, but they have to be carried around everywhere and instantly accessible to be much use (naturally)... a few of the most paranoid have labelled their umbrellas "SHIELD" with paint or stick-on bits of paper, but they mostly just get ridiculed.

Guild members have to check the recent kills on the backstreet noticeboard, and receive targets notifications in their pigeonholes in the /Morning. Without an easy means of centrally communicating, paranoia runs rife at social gatherings, along with cries of "I'm not playing this term!"
