A hotel has been invaded by some "hotel-jackers". (No, they really called them that.) The series' MagicalMineral is called Sakuradite, and is used in semiconductors. And Japan provides 70% of the world's supply, which is the principal reason Japan still exists.

Zero's meeting with his gang when he gets a call on his mobile from someone calling Lulu. He's agonised at having to ignore a friend's call. But he does procaim his group to be Heroes of Justice, which he must have loved.

There's a big underground tunnel into the hotel. The Britannians plan to blow up the foundation block and sink the hotel into the surrounding lake... they don't actually say "kill everyone", but it's what they mean. Even though there are lots of Britannians in the hotel, including the student council.

The Japanese hotel-jackers start killing one hostage every half hour. Cornelia's insistent that the Britannians don't give in to any terrorist demands - easy for her to say, because she doesn't care about anyone's lives.

Zero turns up dramatically, and meets with Cornelia. She wants to kill him, but her little sister Euphemia is in the hostages. She still wants to kill him. He gets the Britannians to agree to let him through to save Euphie. Once he's in, Cornelia says to kill everyone in the hotel, including Euphie and Zero.

Suzaku enters his mech Lancelot (which has the classic on-screen motto: "Marching Ever Onward To Tomorrow") and gets ready to zoom through the tunnel to blow them all up and kill everyone. Iichan is happy about this, as he gets to see his toy in action. Innocent lives? Who cares about them, there's scientific data to be collected!

There's a terrorist cannon down in the tunnel which kills bit-part mechs, and Iichan calculates even Suzaku only has a 47% chance of surviving. What's that all about? He's a main character - he can survive 1% chances with a wave of his hand! Why make it as high as 47%?

Euphie takes off her glasses, and all the hostages suddenly realise their princess is there.

Zero meets the Japanese terrorists, and tells them they're all too old to be saved, in his usual diplomatic fashion. The leader attacks him, so he uses the Geas to give him a one-word order: "Die." He does. Seppuku, naturally. The other terrorists go the same way.

Lancelot uses his Special Weapon to destroy the cannon shooting at him, and sinks the hotel. Then he suddenly notices Zero in the window, and jumps in to save him. And fails.

Lancelot gets about 2 seconds to angst, until Zero steals a TV camera, and shows the Britannians that he's saved all the hostages. On some lifeboats which he got from... somewhere. Let's not ask too closely.

TV Producer With Wacky Hairstyle is in a control room, saying "Yes, broadcast what he's saying. I'll take responsibility." Like, duh. Our TV camera has been hijacked by this celebrity masked man, and he's giving us a live broadcast from the terrorist attack zone. You were considering not broadcasting it?

Then Zero announces his group on live TV as the Order of the Black Knights, friends of the weak and powerless, be they Eleven or Brittanian. Little Red suddenly realises she's not a terrorist any more, but a Hero of Justice.
