Other things I would like for Christmas/birthday/just because

Sterling silver dangly earrings (hook not post). Especially curly ones, or ones with pink or purple stones.

I like small (A5 or A6) hardback or spiral notebooks with plain pages.

Shoes. Funky/pretty/elegant ones. In my size (UK 9.5/Euro? 43 or 43.5).

Beautiful yarn. Admittedly, this might be hard for a non-knitter to buy.
Some ideas:
Enough sock yarn (usually wool with a 10-25% nylon content) for a pair of socks (around 350m/100g) If in doubt, purple or deep winey red is good. :)

[Mini Mochi] looks very pretty (would need 2 skeins for a pair of socks)
I'd love some [Habu] yarn to play with. Specifically [1/20 silk and stainless steel] or a [Kushu kushu scarf kit]. Ooh, [iKnit London] and [Loop] stock Habu, though not the kits. [The wool/stainless steel yarn] looks cool too.

Some means of storing my circular needles.
