Tolkien's notes on Arda, cleaned up, made presentable, and occasionally supplemented by GuyGavrielKay?. It tells the story of the world from its creation until after the Lord of the Rings (which gets a page or so). It's not much like a novel, which puts quite a lot of people off. It is, however, in NickTaylor's arrogant opinion, rather good.
