A few ToothyWikizens have created DoubleAcrostics. These are puzzles consisting of clues to a number of words, written horizontally (the "cross-lights"). If you find these words and write them on top of each other in the order given, their first letters will spell a word, and their last letters will spell another word - the "uprights". A clue to the uprights themselves is usually given as well.

An example of a solution would be:
DRASTIC
OPERA
GAUNTLET
in which the uprights are dog and cat.
