Not a bad legendary FeudalJapan? RPG.
A bad CollectableCardGame based upon the same background.

Read the ClanScorpion? book for some spoilers and some very big laughs.  Their variant on Aesop?s fable is fantastic.

System:
Players use two decks.  (Things and Events)  (Things is not the technical term)

At setup, and at the end of each turn, players populate all remaining sites (they start with four) with things.
Players start with a hand of events, and draw additional ones at the end of each turn.

Main phase plays much like Jyhad - each character in play may act.
Characters who wish to attack may band freely whilst doing so.

Most things cost gold (tapped like mana, with a neat 'any spare per purchase is lost in taxes' rule).  Most actions either gain or cost honour.

To win, gain a certain amount of honour, meet the requirements of you clan, or have sites in play whilst your opponent does not.

Battles work kinda differently to most games.  Play cards / use abilities in turn, or declare 'fight'.  Winner is the one with highest total.  Losers troops are ALL removed from play.  None of winners are.

Duelling is similar, except the stats and abilities used are different, and a player may use the number on a card to gain that many points of power (in place of using the ability on a card - giving a second vector to work out cards value)
