As performed by InsaneScientists or MadProfessors.

Here is an example of some mad science as done in one of Requiem's lectures.

There are two numbers - one and a few. Few squared, is an order of magnitude. One plus one is few. From this, you can do nearly all of physics. Let's try it.

A car's engine is a few kilowatts. (A few)^-1 people in England drive a few hours a day to work and back, counting people who don't drive and people who drive more than that. Commercial transport uses a few times more energy than private transport. Thus the total energy consumption due to transport of a person in the UK per day is 10 kilowatt-hours.
Sanjoy Mahajan, or is there someone else this nuts at the Cavendish? --SF
Yes, it's Sanjoy. The irritating thing is, that it's actually reasonably accurate. --Requiem

Pallando writes: Try this one:
  1. Assume Girls are Good
  2. Good is the Negative of Evil
  3. Money of the root of all Evil
  4. The Root of a Negative is Imaginary
  5. Therefore Good Girls are Imaginary
I'm all in favour of subtle weaknesses in proofs for comic effect, but I think you might need to be a bit less blatant about changing variables from "girls" to "money"... I think in fact, given that more properly Evil is the negation of Good, what you've proved is that money is imaginary :) --AC
