Run every fortnight, this basically consists of four drunk people attempting to do stand-up comedy. A mention of the motion is rare.
Why is everyone drunk? The people who do it get a free formal hall with alcohol beforehand, thanks to the generous amount that TrinityCollege give to Magpie and Stump every year. It's a tradition, so they pay well. And have no control whatsoever over what is said - one guy ranted for about 15 minutes about sex.
That's also what happens when you let Freshers loose on it - they aren't used to the alcohol or attention!
