PlayingCards/Rummy

A basic card game type. (The others are PlayingCards/Whist and PlayingCards/Patience)

In a rummy, the aim is to meld cards - producing sequences (Ace,King,Queen - for example) and sets (Three two's, for example)

To do this, you take a card into your hand, from either the face down stack, or the discard pile - and then you discard a card.

Various types of rummy exist, giving additional rules as to how many cards you pick up, or under what conditions you discard and score points.

PlayingCards/Canasta is probably the best rummy, although PlayingCards/GinRummy? is by far the more well known.
