What is this world in which we write?
Funny, that's what it is.
A chance meeting, a game or three, a contract or two, decline and fall.
With the hope of resurrection, perhaps? That's what keeps the knives away in their drawer.
Otherwise why not sharpen them up? For what end? Any end? The end?
Ignore this, it isn't funny and it might go away. As might you.
The curtain rises, it's time to go on...
