Translates as 'I fully expect that some subset of people reading this will disagree' - used to indicate that disagreement isn't intended as a Flame?, but as a statement of differing opinion.
I always thought of this as the ultimate disclaimer, rather than "this isn't a Flame?". Past performance is not an indication of future performance. Your investments may go down as well as up. Think carefully before securing a loan on your house... But hey, YMMV. --Admiral
