Recommended by Rachael. Normally I don't like going to hairdressers because they tell me off for having split ends and/or make me feel twelve years old. These people did neither, and actually gave me useful advice for getting rid of the split ends. They charged £15 for a trim, which I think is reasonable by Cambridge standards.
Hmm. Less impressed after a second visit. They used me as a classroom exhibit in a way I found dehumanising. "Emma, have I shown you how to deal with split ends yet? No? Come over here and look, there's some great ones. (demonstrates technique) You often get them, especially with young girls, because they don't brush their hair enough" and not addressing me at all. However, they're still better than many, so I'll probably go again. --Rachael
