"There are some things logic can't tell us. Therefore we should discard logic."

alternatively, "Logic is incomplete. Therefore one should discard logic."

How does one respond?

Empathy?

Alternatively a perspective of the world which differs from that of most people. I get this quite a bit. --Edith

I believe the original context is something like: "How dare you call me illogical, just because I don't subscribe to your rich white male heartless form of logic.  There are other types of logic out there, and some of them are more true to our emotional innerselves, but being male I suppose you can't see the limitations of your sort?  I'm not illogical, I'm differently logical." --DR
