DaftPunk music and Leiji Matsumoto's designs. Originally there were four music videos, telling a continuous story of an alien band (blue skinned but otherwise surprisingly humanoid) who are kidnapped and turned into humans, presumably to make lots of money as a band on Earth. The music videos stopped there. Now there is a film, but we haven't seen it yet.

There is no speech
None is needed (it does mean you end up referring to the characters as 'the girl,' 'the evil guy,' 'the drummer' etc - SunKitten :)

The action, plot and characters are quite compelling
The plot is quite understandable, and goes into a surprising amount of detail
Some parts do drag on, but it is a far, far easier watch than MoonShadow expected
It's quite a lot of fun ;)
