This is the only 'one guy/many girls' show I have ever seen to be solved by process of elimination... But I typed that before ep 13. Oh well. Being dead shouldn't hold you back from a full and healthy life, ne?
So, to summarise, of the 5 main girls in Yuuichi's life... 1 is normal, but incidentally his cousin... 2 has been in a dream / coma for seven years, which doesn't stop her from stealing Taiyaki and saying hi every now and then... 3 is actually a fox who exchanged her memory and life for the chance to become human briefly... 4 is terminally ill and has been told she will not live until her next birthday, but is now healthy?? 5 fights demons of her own unconscious construction with a sword and, when all is over, decides to try to kill herself...
Did I miss anything?
No wonder Yuuichi was nervous about coming back ^^;;;
Not only has Ayu been in a coma for 7 years, but she happens to recover after mysteriously disappearing in the middle of the forest. Was the Ayu that Yuuichi was spending time with some separate incarnation, to try to get him to regain his memories...?
