An old MagicTheGathering computer game by MicroProse?, Shandalar has you walking around a fantasy world under seige by five evil wizards who are close to freeing an ancient demon known as Arzakon. You play battle against various fantasy beasties by playing MagicTheGathering, winning or losing cards depending on the outcome of the battle. Eventually, you must make your deck strong enough that you can confront each of the five wizards in their castles. An excellent game, if somewhat buggy, this is how I taught myself to play Magic, even though I started in Onslaught and this only goes up to The Dark. --Ultros
