Threads/Dreams

/Dreams. He mustn't dream. If he dreamed, he might dream too far, too deep. If he dreamed too deep, they might.. they would-

He caught himself as his head nodded, jerking himself back to laboured wakefulness. The carriage was dark and he was alone in it, and it was all too easy to fall into the endless arms of sleep.

To distract himself, he looked out of the /Window?. The moon was bright tonight, although there was something flittering in front of it. A moth, presumably - since a /Butterfly would be asleep.
