Nobles. Only they are forced to retain /Reason past adolescence. Even the royals eventually undergo the /Ceremony?.

The servant caste. They groom and feed the /Grey and the Peshawar.

/Black?

The priesthood. They administer the /Ceremony?. They usually train from a young age, and undergo the /Ceremony? early; they are not permitted an active role until they have done so. The entire priesthood, therefore, is said to operate completely on /Instinct?.

/Stripe

One who holds more than one ranking - only the highest ranking is polite to mention; and/or a crossbreed - one of no consequence, though still within society.

/Ginger

Outcasts and foreigners; their fur is matted and torn; they hold no territory; yet they have more pride than most /Peshawar?.
