Sha'am is a ToothyCat daemon. He was summoned into the PhoenixFeathers plane of existence by Yozhik when he made a mistake trying to summon sshd (see [here]). He was identified by Peri as a minor toothycat daemon with the aetheric number 0123464232-beta (see [here]). Amazingly, his name has already changed since he first appeared on PhoenixFeathers (ahem).

The name may well be a homophone for 'sham' - which seems appropriate, given his evident ability to transform/disguise himself. -- TheInquisitor
