There's a quite extensive list of ways to make Wiki pages more readable at WikiWikiWeb: RefactoringWikiPages.

AlexChurchill is of the opinion that most ToothyWiki pages which are long ThreadMode? discussions would benefit from Refactoring. (As commented on ToothyWiki: OngoingConversation.) The two most common ways of doing this are WikiWikiWeb: ConvertThreadModeToDocumentMode or WikiWikiWeb: RefactorByCondensingConversation.
