The river that (allegedly) flows through Cambridge.  Widely held by Cantabrigian fans of TerryPratchett's Discworld? books to be the inspiration for the RiverAnkh?.  Swimming in this river is not recommended.
The following exchange actually took place, as far as AlexChurchill is aware:
"My friend got baptised in the RiverCam last Sunday."
"But aren't baptisms supposed to be in water?"
That one has been used a number of times :)
