A Christian author, who writes books. For example, about how a Christian marriage should work.

His name is also built out of the common abbreviations for SelwynCollege and HughesHall. This resulted in a rather bizarre conversation depicting the following scene. Note: AlexChurchill got most of the way through working out a full storyboard to how a comic/manga depiction of this scene would look.

The idea was that SelwynHughes was in fact not a human author at all, but formed one day through SelwynCollege uprooting itself, transforming into a roughly robotic form (several storeys high of course) but built out of bricks. SelwynCollege then lumbered across Cambridge towards HughesHall, which had stood up in preparation. A bizarre combination/transformation sequence ensued, with the resulting combined multi-storey brick robot standing towering over Cambridge, and bellowing:

: I... AM... SELWYN HUGHES. LEARN FROM ME... ABOUT MARRIAGE!!

: For some reason, MoonShadow is reminded of the neko-sensei from PrincessTutu. ^^;
