We saw Van Helsing on Thursday evening. It has to be the cheesiest film I have seen for a long, long time. It was not quite cheesy enough to be funny (a la Pirates of the Caribbean) and not quite serious enough to be, well, serious, although I don't see how they can have written it intending it to be serious. I did enjoy it, though - it was good for a laugh. I have a serious complaint with all these films - they keep promising winged men and not delivering. Underworld was the same. Ah well, maybe one day ^.^ As a means of motivation, I've resorted to marking progress of the various comics that are supposed to be being updated on a semi-regular basis. The wiki page is here, if anyone's interested - it will probably always be minor edits that I make. Speaking of the wiki, I noticed something today while browsing Naath's page. I checked it for myself, and it's true. If you do a google search for Phoenix Feathers, we come top - ahead of even the Harry Potter fan site of the same name (now inactive - Aug 26, 2005). Go us! I got fan art today, of Saryth again (thank you to Denji). He appears to be popular ^.^ And speaking of cool things, (slightly belated) congratulations to Atreic and Emperor on their engagement.
