How ridiculous can anime titles get?" But remembering this is Japan, it's not much worse a concept than KaitouSaintTail? or (that gender-change one, no not RanmaHalf or FutabaKunChange? , the other one... TenshiNaKonamaiki). However, it turns out that it's actually a magical-girl who fights communists - "Combat Communist" means "Communist-Fighter", not "Communist Fighter". The person who translated this probably needs to study English for a bit longer.
Well, it appears from the covers of the Japanese mangas on the main fansite that the English name was provided by the original author, as is the case with a number of anime / manga. And while most Japanese know much more English words than English know Japanese words, the grammar etc of English used by most Japanese is often rather comical. This seems to be one such case. Although I'm still not convinced that Rika-chan isn't herself a communist who's fighting other communists... --AlexChurchill
However, this isn't just another magical girl show. AlexChurchill blundered across the site by starting with some /Spoilers, unfortunately, so beware; don't click /Spoilers until you've seen all you want to.
