A series of DatingSims (I believe there were 3) from a few years back, now made into an anime. BUT! Don't switch off yet! Because the anime is more like Noir than Kanon or LoveHina.

: Certainly half of it is; at times it feels like it has two directors wrestling for control over it, though... ^_^;

It's a highly cool and quite stylish tale of professional bodyguards, sinister death threats, professional singers on tour, mysterious inheritances, and a military training school which doubles as, um, a cafe.

It features a moody [brother-and-sister team] of professional assassins - uh - bodyguards. He shuns guns and instead uses swords, in blatant defiance of the old adage, "Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't". And another lady bodyguard, and a few cute waitresses (i.e. students at the military academy), some of whom who hate each others' guts.

On the basis of the first two episodes, I'd say it doesn't manage to ooze style in quite the way that Noir and CowboyBebop do, but it is classy, cool, and intriguing. The cafe bits have been comic relief so far (and an opportunity to show off the characters from one of the games, I suspect), but there's suggestions that that won't stay that way. I'm awaiting the torrents of 3 and beyond with interest, anyway.

Oh... according to the fanfubbers, there was also an H TriangleHeart OAV a year or two back. This isn't it.

: Indeed. I usually call this one Triangle Heart: Sweet Songs Forever on the rare occasions when there's a need to distinguish the two....
