I have a body of knowledge that is obvious to me. You have a body of knowledge that is obvious to you.
It would take a long time for me to list everything I know, much of it would be irrelevant or uninteresting to you, and I wouldn't even know where to begin anyway.
Sometimes, you will not understand something I say or be able to reproduce something I do, because the thing I am saying or doing is based on something you do not know. I am trying to diagnose the problem you are having. If the thing you do not know is something that was not obvious to me when I discovered it, I could take a stab at what it is. If I can observe where you go wrong, I can take a stab at what it is. But sometimes I don't know which bit of knowledge you are missing.
Ah, but equally, listing everything you don't know will take too long. And may not even be possible. (Some things can be said in the form of a question - but I don't know the consequences of the answer to that quesiton - and so on becomes a little unwieldy. Especially since I don't know whether or not I know that.)
MoonShadow thinks the best way out is, after all, for everyone to list everything they know so everyone else can fill in the gaps. Hence, ToothyWiki.

It's filling out in a very strange order though - half StreamOfConsciousness? and half DetailsWithoutBackground?. So there is talk of QuantumPhysics (or if not, there will be RealSoonNow) but there's no explanation of BasicArithmatic?
