Diary: Wednesday 7th April. The strange creature has taken up residence on the cabinet next to my desk. I don't object to its presence. Its peaceful smile and gentle rocking are soothing, while impressive in their consistency.

Diary: Thursday 8th April. It's still there. It doesn't show any discomfort, inclination to move, or indeed any negative expressions at all: it just sits there looking blissfully relaxed. I wish I felt that relaxed... have been feeling tense recently. Am not sure why one of my colleagues thinks the creature's so well suited to me. Apparently when he discovered it "he thought of me at once" and decided I had to see it...

Diary: Tuesday 13th April. Was disconcerted to suddenly notice the creature was rocking his head back and forth in exact time with the music I'm listening to. It hasn't changed its eerie smile, and doesn't show much other signs of sensing the world around it, so this was a bit of a shock to notice. Am obviously overwraught to get worked up over a little thing like this - suspect it's also caused by my papers being moved around my desk - one of my colleagues is obviously playing a practical joke on me. Am going for a lie down.

Diary: Monday 26th April. Workmates have been looking suspiciously at me. What's their problem? They are also staying as far away as possible from SunshineBuddy. Unfair! He's my friend, even if he never moves, just sits there grinning and rocking, grinning and rocking...

A photo will have to be produced at some point. In the meantime, imagine something like a chibi JellyBaby, with a fixed spaced-out grin, who sits on your desk (table, monitor, Go board) and rocks his head while grinning at you. The rocking carries on permanently, because there's a little solar panel which works on ambient light.
To qqzm: this is a description of the SunshineBuddy, not of AlexChurchill!!!

Anyone who's played the FinalFantasy games featuring Tonberries can think of them. Because for all its seeming innocence, everyone who's seen it is convinced that it would wield a knife terrifyingly well.

The packaging tells us all he asks is a little love and attention. It doesn't mention the gradual sucking out of your soul that the sweet li'l guy gets up to, or his part-time role guest starring in children's nightmares.

CorkScrew finds this page strangely addictive, and occasionally goes back to read the diary entries. He is not quite sure why...
