These include Vitenka, AlexChurchill, and "Palmer" (an ex-student at JesusCollege who has vowed never to return to Cambridge). Here are some thoughts...
Individual Colleges' Robot Modes
ChurchillCollege would be the one that looks like it has been made from shoe boxes with an odd glass spike coming out of its back.
RobinsonCollege would be completely brick red in colour from the front but would actually look quite pretty from behind.
When Combined into the Giant Combined Robot
Well, NewHall would most obviously be the one above the belly.
'One' being the operative word... it's an Amazon giant robot?
The "piece" or "segment", perhaps... sigh... ;)
GirtonCollege would work well as a fist if kept on a chain so that it can be reeled in when needed (clearly it wasn't reset after the last battle) --Vitenka
Being red would make RobinsonCollege the main command piece.
ChristsCollege has a toastrack that would work well as some kind of missile system.
JesusCollege probably folds up in a complex way to make an arm - the hexagonal tower thing is clearly a weapon system. The library would be the shoulder joint.
Maybe TrinityCollege's multiple levels and giant spaces would make it suitable to contain multiple small robotic assault vehicles? Hangar for a load of FlyingArmouredBikes?, or some such...
